This exceptional program brings together time-tested reading skills instruction, great books, and an experienced, inspiring teacher from the Institute of Reading Development, a leader in live online education for children. This one-of-a-kind combination makes learning to read easy and fun and sets every child up for success.

In this program, your child will:

  • Learn beginning phonics skills
  • Learn to recognize easy sight words
  • Read simple words and sentences
  • Develop a love of books and reading
  • Feel confident and excited about learning to read

Once a week, you and your child will attend an exciting face-to-face online class with an expert teacher, where students can see, hear, and speak with each other. Between classes, children complete fun interactive lessons and games, practice reading our easy phonics reader, and listen to superhero Bookman read picture books aloud. The program provides lots of support, so your child can do almost everything independently.

With over 12 hours of instruction and activities, your child will build skills week after week. To help you during these challenging times, we are offering the program at a reduced price.

The Right Skills

In this program, we teach students the beginning reading skills that make learning to read easy and fun. These skills will help your child get off to a strong start with reading.

Beginning Phonics

Your child will learn the letters of the alphabet and the sounds they make. He or she will learn how to sound out simple words.

Sight Words

Recognizing common words like ‘the’ and ‘is’ by sight makes learning to read much easier and provides a big boost in confidence.

Begin to Read

Your child will read short words and simple sentences in our wonderful phonics reader, Let’s Read!
